The workers of TCN had Monday rejected the appointment of Mohammed as an interim Managing Director, threatening to shut down TCN networks should government fail to rescind the decision. Speaking to Vanguard, General Secretary of NUEE, Mr. Joe Ajaero said: “The national leadership of NUEE is solidly behind TCN workers because we wrote a letter to government when we learned that he (Mohammed) was coming to TCN for a transitional period of 12 months. We demanded to know where he would be transiting to because you do not transit machine. ”As workers, you cannot transit human beings without their knowledge or consent or else, we will refuse to transit with you. When we refuse to transit with you, there will be no supply.”
